Privacy Policy

This policy describes how INGEN Cloud (“we” or “us”) handles personal information in connection with ingencloud.io, portal.ingencloud.io, VPS orders, and support requests. It does not cover content that customers choose to host inside their own VPS, except when we must access it to provide support, protect the service, or comply with law.

1. Information we handle

To create and manage an account, we may handle your name, email address, account credentials, contact details, orders, service identifiers, invoices, payment status, and support messages. A payment provider may collect payment details directly and return payment confirmation and transaction records to us. We may also handle IP addresses, device and browser details, sign-in events, and network or server logs needed to deliver and secure the service. The marketing site has no account form or analytics script in this codebase, though the web host or network may create technical request logs.

2. How information is used

We use information to create accounts, process orders and payments, provision VPS services, answer support requests, send billing and service notices, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and keep business records. Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, the basis may be the service contract, a legal obligation, a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, or consent for an optional activity. We obtain consent where required before using information for a new optional purpose.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The client portal may use cookies or local storage to keep you signed in, protect your session, and remember essential preferences. Browser settings may let you block or clear these technologies, but doing so can prevent account features from working. The marketing site does not set cookies through its application code. Any nonessential analytics or advertising technology is disclosed and offered with the controls required by applicable law before use.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared with providers that operate hosting, network, payment, billing, support, and security services for us, limited to what they need for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by a valid legal request, to respond to abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable law. Providers may process information outside your jurisdiction, subject to any protections required by applicable law. If we introduce a sale of personal information or targeted advertising, we disclose it and provide any choices required by law.

5. Retention and security

We retain account, billing, support, and technical records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal or accounting duties, then delete or deidentify them when no longer needed. Different record types may have different periods, and backups may expire on a separate schedule. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

You may update account details through the client portal where that feature is available. To request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available under the law that applies to you, email support@ingencloud.io. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information when law or a legitimate service obligation requires it. If a request is denied, you may ask us to review the decision through the same contact channel. Rights and response requirements depend on your location and applicable law.

7. Children and policy changes

VPS accounts are intended for adults, and the services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information without the consent required by law, we will take appropriate steps to remove it. We post a revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
